Reading a book is often like watching a movie in your head, or even being in the movie itself.
With that analogy, I am sad to say reading Virginia Woolf’s Mrs.Dalloway was like watching the movie wouldn’t end. Honestly, the whole book sounds like people reminicsing about what could’ve been, and what are now. I could write a book about that too if I wanted to.
I was sort of disappointed that I did not enjoy this book at all because Woolf’s Orlando was thoroughly enchanting.
O well. Each to their own tastes. I guess I’ll be reading Othello right before school starts so that I don’t fail the quiz. Haha
